I literally couldn't give a **** about this fight. The last time I cared this little about one of the sports 'superstars' fighting was when Pac took on Horn. I still haven't bothered watching that fight and prob never will.

Robbery or not I don't really care. Faded Pac isn't worth watching these days anymore than watching Bolt would be - when you're done you're done.

As for the Horn dog I can't say I have much interest in seeing him trade blows with anyone as I expect him to get beat down by the first world class fighter he takes on.

I didn't. Miguel is the vacant title winning king. Nothing he loves more than an easy belt to grab against some hopeless over-ranked contender. Or the disabled. Cotto loves himself a man in a knee brace.

What an appropriate way for Cotto to go out, in disgrace. This is a flat out sad, undignified and embarrassing way to end a career, and eons worst than losing by KO to Lemieux. At least that would have most likely garnered him the respect from the fans for truly challenging himself, and it would be memorable, this way he goes out as a footnote, and like the little ***** he is.

Ali could give him trouble but if Vargas beat him up and that was at welter cotto will do the same at light middle this is a poor fight cotto could have dragged up a better fighter or if the trash title is on the line fight a light middle all the great fights his had and his ending his career fighting trash I would have respected him. More if he fought a really good opponent and got beat then winning this

Not in the least, having a policy in life of being brutally honest and telling it like it is, even when it hurts people's feelings, and not lying to people's faces and kissing their ass and pretending like I like them when I don't.... means I don't have to carry around all the baggage of being a fake suck ass. Its quite liberating, and makes me a genuine joy to be around at least for all the people I like.

What? Do you think getting on a forum being a fake and lathering up a ***** like Cotto, when I think he's a s***, would make me happy? It must be hard as hell and a legit misery for you to live your life with your head in the sand in regards to him losing against every decent challenge he's ever faced, his best wins being marred by injury, or being so close they could be losses. Face it, he's a subpar joke of a fighter at this point that is ending his career with a pathetic little whimper, instead of a glorious bang.

He already has the respect from the fans. A class act with tons of names on his resume.
You don't think he's earned the right to take an easier fight before bowing out? Anything other than a murderous punching middleweight is a disgrace? Please.

No, he doesn't have to face a murderous punching Middleweight to garner respect, but he could face, oh.... Kell Brook, Erislandy Lara, Jermell Charlo, Demetrious Andrade, Billy Joe Saunders, Errol Spence Jr. Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter, Danny Garcia, Brian Castano, Michel Soro, hell even Beefy would be better than this glass jawed joke that got brutally KTFO by JESSIE VARGAS and needed a gift to beat Johan ****ing Perez, who was brutally KTFO by the featherfisted Mikhaylenko, this is the definition of a **** fight.
