Where is Jessie anyway? Over eleven months inactivity now, which means even if a fight is announced tomorrow he will still he dropped from all the rankings in a few weeks regardless.

 

Also, there's nothing wrong with Ali as a Cotto opponent per se.

It is underwhelming for a Cotto farewell opponent when there looked like a good chance of it being Lemieux. Ali is a tiiiiiiiny bit less dangerous than Lemieux.

 

I always liked cotto so no complaints would of been nice to see vs lemioux but oh well cotto has earned the respect of fans.. fought Mayweather,canelo,pac... never ran from them .. I mean, Cotto vs. Ali is a big wet boring fart in our mouths (especially after being lured by the bait of a Lemieux match) but that just isn't true. Nothing about Cotto and Margarito in a rubber match in 2017 is my idea of intriguing. Cotto vs. K9 Bundrage would be more intriguing.
