    Cotto Tko11 Martinez.

I like Martinez, he got to the top the hard way, but Cotto still has enough left to break down Sergio. I think Sergio's hands by his waist style won't work well against Cotto who is IMO the best pure boxer/puncher Martinez would have faced.

Would be a very interesting fight.

ESB members are either high or clueless. Martinez arguably beats Williams and beats Pavlik, and he won't be able to destroy little 5'7" Cotto? I'd be happy to take anyone's money should this fight come to pass. Martinez embarrasses Cotto at 154.

Don't get me wrong, Foreman is no Martinez, but isn't that what alot of esb said about foreman?

My opinion aside, this is a fight I would love to see.

Yeah, let's see how 5'7" Cotto fairs against 6'2" PW and 6'2" Pavlik, then we can talk. I know how Martinez faired against these guys.

Enough left in the tank??? He couldn't whip Sergio with a full tank.

Cotto is just too susceptible to counters. I know a lot of people just don't believe in Sergio's arms-down style, but it saves a ton of energy and allows him to stay fresher with crisper punches later in the fight... at the time when Cotto usually fades. It also allows him to get a better visual of the ring at all times, and it just so happens to allow his punches to come from a lower angle, which coincidentally is Cotto's kryptonite.

If Cotto gets anywhere close enough to throw any body shots, he catches counters with ease. And I think you guys underestimate Sergio's power. If and when he catches Cotto clean, it will stun and possibly put him down.

Legit points on Sergio's hands down style, ring awarness, punch throwing. But I just don't see Segio ko'ing Cotto though.

I underestimate Sergio's power because I haven't seen it (tko/ko) since he's been truely world class. He has enough to get guys to meet the canvas here and there, but he usually wont put his man away.

If Martinez does win it will be by a decision imo.

I hope your view is not tainted by the fact that P.Will's win would diminish if Cotto is able to beat Martinez.

BTW, I think this would be a close fight with late KO by Cotto, if it goes 12 W goes to Martinez.

I hope your view is not tainted by the fact that Pac's win would diminish if Martinez is able to wipe the floor with Cotto.

BTW, I think this would be a lop-sided fight with a mid-late KO by Martinez, if it goes 12 W goes to Martinez 9-3.

You think a lot don't you?

Or maybe youre pre-determined puppet-like posts could use a little more work than the daily regurgitated "pac and cotto sucks" routine.

 I don't know where you get the "Pac sucks" part from...

I don't recall ever really criticizing him. Yeah, I thought Clottey would beat him, but you'd be hard pressed to find a post where I say "Pac sucks" or "Pac is on roids" or "Pac is a ducker"

Now Cotto on the other hand.. I have said a lot worse in the past than I have lately. And I don't think the most avid Cotto fans can find anything in my posts in this thread that is insulting of Cotto. I just don;t think he can beat Sergio. And I even attempted to spell out why, with a lot more detail than anyone who claimed otherwise.

I'm supprised quite a few people are picking Cotto.

I think Sergio takes it on points about 7 - 5.
