Randall beat Chavez in '94, dummy. And for your information, Randall was actually a very good fighter and put on a great fight, which was a very competitive fight by the way..maybe you should actually watch the fight before you comment. :deal

Know YOUR boxing aside from Pacquiao, cus you clearly dont know ****, Boomita.

Chavez hasnt accomplished anything within the Whitaker time frame and he's accomplished **** at welterweight.

Why are you so in denial that your Hero would of undoubtedly been beaten to a pulp by a Puerto Rican? But dont worry once he beats the son that will make him a 4 weight division champion. one more than cocaine chavez. How is them apples?:thumbsup

As good as Cotto was at 147lbs, Chavez is still a bad style match up for him. If slow ass one dimensional no defense Margo was able to connect many time against Cotto, what the **** makes you think Chavez wouldnt do any better?? And please Cotto wouldnt beat Chavez to a pulp..not even come close to it actually...I see it as a very competitive fight at 147lbs, with Chavez having a very good chance of winning, where at 140lbs, it would be a slaughter.

And i could give a **** less about Jr, and i will be rooting for Cotto if they actually fight. Jr aint nothing but a paper champ anyway. :good

  4. AAHAHAHAHAHAH! Chavez was said to be a student of the "Capetiello way" too..

You don't know **** about styles. Margarito was able to do what he did because of his size advantage. Cotto had more power and speed at the weight class than cocaine did he would out brawl him clearly.

And Chavez had the much greater defense and accuracy than Margo, and also threw much better uppercuts than him...which is something Cotto has always been vunerable with, and with Cotto's leaky ass defense, you bet your ass Chavez would be landing a shitload of shots. Like i said, it would be competitive, and Chavez would still have a very good chance of winning. Obviously, you're the one who dont know **** about styles, tranny.

I'll tell you what, Boomita. Why wont you make a thread on who wins at 147lbs, between Cotto and Chavez from '93. Make one here on the General and on the Classic. :deal

Cotto would get marked up and take some shots, but outbox Campas and win a clear decision.

Come on man. Cotto is a MUCH better boxer than Campas ever was and would beat the hell out of him. Maybe Campas doesn't get stopped, but he gets hammered every round.

Lmao Chavez's power would be no where as effective as plaster hands did against cotto. Cotto is Chavez 2.0 and would dominate every aspect of the fight at 147. And lol @ ur goofy ass gustavo believing Chavez's defense would make the difference. Chavez is no Whitaker, mayweather or Leonard. His defense would of been non-existent.
