I don't know whether to smack this dude or take a **** on him. WTf is he even saying, lmao...!!!???:rofl
Well what would you expect when someone is commenting about a fighter they dislike and some ******* comes along at takes a swipe at them bringing up personal issues that have zero to do with the discussion. But that's to be expected from a progressive since most of you ****stains turn to ad hominem personal insults the moment someone says something you disagree in an attempt to bait them into a fight, so you can accuse them of being insane or mad or unstable the moment they give you what you want. Am I mad... no, but I do find your sleaziness somewhat annoying.
:huh What did your moms **** say to the fist? ..... ...... http://www.palm-reading.org/images/muhammad-ali1.jpg Give me five............ ....... .... hyuck, hyuck, hyuck, hyuck, you get it? :rofl:rofl
I wonder IF Cotto will be next to get his walking papers? Will HBO put his PPV vs. ? On in Dec.? Does MC have an exclusive with HBO. (Anyone know?)
Well he was undefeated and prime in the Margarito fight. He was still pretty damn good and fresh in the Pac fight and still got destroyed. By the time of the Floyd fight Cotto was already old news and lost any aura of elite p4p that he once had.
That doesn't make any sense. After Magarita "brick'd" Cotton, Cotton was never the same again. He had a tune up fight against a journeyman for a vacant belt, then fought Clottey in NYC in a fight he should of lost. Clottey beat the absolute dog **** out of Cotton, he had to escape with a hometown decision. If that made matters worse, Pac asked Cotton to drain to 145 while he already had problems making weight. Cotton hired his friend to train for the biggest fight of his career, a domestic level trainer who was unknown to the boxing world. I remember the build up to that fight, Cotton ate nothing by pinchos and tostones to prepare for the fight and trained poorly. The Cotton that Floyd fought was fresher, less shop worn, and comfortable at the 154 weight class with a winning streak, including the person who bricked him half to death.
There were no indications, or actual rumors, of Cotto not being able to make 147. In fact, he fought at 146 right before the PAC fight. And in that fight, he didn't fight in any way or form of a shot, or drained fighter. More revisionist history...
So he fought at 146 in the fight before right? So why did he ask Cotto to come in at 145 for a 147 lb title fight if a lb didn't make a difference? You clowns screamed, "he weighed 146 in the fight before Pac"! Mofo he wasn't asked to come in at 146, wtf. You don't know what it's like to make weight. You look at numbers, and you know what.....I'm done lol. You can't explain **** to clowns. Same clowns **** on Floyd and I did too when he made Canelo come in at 152 try to ok Pac making Cotto come in at 145. I never liked you scumbag lying alts.
I'm really not sure what point you're trying to make. Cotton had trouble making 140 pounds, he was losing muscle to make that weight. Despite that, he weighed 138 pounds for his last fight at 140. He fought Clottey at 146 a year after the brick fight and looked like absolute ****. Cotton threw everything including the kitchen sink at Clottey and Clottey folded his arms and laughed at Cotton's punches. Then, he proceeded to beat the living **** out Miguel. After this fight, Pac's team demanded that Cotton weigh 145 pounds for their fight, a weight Cotton has never made at WW before or after Pacquiao. As a matter of fact, he moved up to 154 half a year later. Claiming the weight/trainer/brick fight didn't effect Cotton is asinine. Pac gets credit for that win due to him being a former Flyweight champ getting a belt in his 7th weight class. However, I don't see any great/hof in history losing to that version of Cotton though, especially at 145 pounds with a domestic level, never heard of trainer.
Well then....it's a good thing he fought Pac at 145, since 140 waqs out of the question. For some time before as well. Cotto looking like ****, but winning just says Clottey gave him a hard fight. Too much over-****yzation occurs here at times. Cotto weighed one pound less in that fight then his previous. And like I said, Cotto didn't fight like some weight drained or ruined fighter. He moved up because he got KTFO of WW. Where else was he to go? That happens often when a champ gets beaten badly in their former division. Not to mention, had a gift of a title shot waiting for him w/ Yuri Foreman @ 154. Why wouldn't he move up to take an easy title off the hands of a much lesser opponents. Uhm....ok?
:huh I wouldn't have doubted that Pac's team asked for 140 first, I think that was their original plan. After some negotiating, they demanded the fight be at 143 and threatened to look elsewhere if Cotton didn't accept their offer. It would of been a 38 year old Mosley at 140 if the Cotton fight fell through, luckily both sides agreed to 145, a weight Miguel Cotton has never made before or after. Nobody is over ****yzing anything. Cotton looked like **** and should of lost the Clottey fight. He didn't look elite, his punch resistance was completely shot, and he was flat footed most of the fight. 5 months later, he had to drain down even further and fought the p4p number 1 at the time Manny Pacquiao with an inexperienced trainer. These are simply the facts. Cotton moved up because there were no more logical fights at 147 and he couldn't make the weight anymore. This was the WW ranking after Pac beat up Cotton. Manny Pacquiao Shane Mosley Floyd Mayweather Jr. Miguel Cotto Joshua Clottey Antonio Margarito Andre Berto Luis Collazo Rafal Jackiewicz Jan Zaveck Pacquaio beat him and had more options available, Shane Mosley had a fight lined up with Berto, Mayweather Jr just came out of retirement, and he got beat up by the 5th and 6th rated WW's at the time. The Yuri Foreman fight wasn't a gift belt. Foreman legitimately beat Daniel Santos for the WBA belt after Santos KO'd Alcine.
Why are you killing this ****bag? Why are you wasting your ****en time on him? He's a ****en Margarito **** riding alt. Stop while you're ahead. Trust me.
