At this point he reminds me of Meldrick Taylor. Taylor lost to Chavez then had success at Welterweight winning a title and defending it a couple of times befor getting KO'd by Terry Norris. After Norris Taylor fought Espana and was Ko'd in the eighth. Espana is a much bigger puncher than Foreman but is unknown like Foreman was and Taylor was expected to win like Cotto is. One factor that Cotto doesn't have going into this fight is he isn't fighting as big of a puncher. He is going up in weight which could make it feel similiar. When Taylor fought Norris at a catch weight he shook Norris but got creamed in the end. Espana was a pretty good puncher but not explosiveness but he took Taylor apart because he used his reach and Taylor couldn't get inside. I think this bout will be much tougher for Foreman than it was for Espana. I see Foreman pulling a SD upset in the end.

Its a probable comparison but I wont back it til the Foreman fight. Win or lose if Cotto is himself he is not shot. If he loses bad or even if he wins and its bad I'll think he is shot. Foreman is a live dog and I give him a real good chance but its hard to right off Miguel here

Not a chance in hell Foreman beats Cotto...the guy has 8 KO's and he's fought practically all scrubs...Cotto TKO late rounds

That's a bit of an extreme stance. I do think Cotto wins, but Foreman does have some skills and coupled with his size and reach advantage, I could easily envision him outpointing Cotto.

Im a big fan of both. Hopefully Cotto pulls it off but if we knew the outcome beforehand by mysteriously looking into the future, we'd be rich people.

(I'm a big fan of Meldrick and Cotto, NOT Foreman lol)

I see Foreman beating Cotto decisively. I really don't think this is a good matchup for Cotto at all.

Espana was a terrible stylistic matchup for Taylor. Quite a few people seem to feel the same way that Foreman is a terrible matchup for Cotto. I hope not though, I'm rooting for Cotto.

i truly belive cotto will KO foreman.if he doesent,he will win with a big UD. foreman will be punchin just 2 punch combinations, and cotto is trowing much more and longer combinations,so hell win on pint anyway. he only need to work on the ionside, but thats what he does in camp with steward. i think cotto will be back strong.i just don think foreman is on the same level at all.
