Very true and a real shame. Apart from hardcore fans no one else knows much or cares about a fighter as talented and exciting in the ring as Cotto whereas Ricky Hatton is known by everone(well in Britain anyway).

I can easily throw in this.

Floyd and Cotto's style are different. Floyd is meant to get the UD not get the KO like Cotto.

Floyd fought Sosa at 135. While Cotto fought him at 140. His starting weight.

Floyd fought Corley at 140. His 3rd weight class. While Cotto fought him at at 140, his starting weight class.

Floyd fought Judah at 147. His 4th weight class. While Cotto fought him at 147 as well, at what is considered to be his "natural and best" weight class.

I still remember the day Cotto ruined Kelson Pinto.

another stat you may want to add to Cotto's resume is how many fighters have not fought again since Cotto beat them. I'm sure I dont know all of them, but I havent heard anything about

Pinto, Abdullaev,Urkal (he was already old)

Pinto & Abdullaev both defeated Cotto as an amateur, but Cotto ended their careers apparently.

Cotto's resume is the best in boxing currently in my opinon.

People who say Cotto has or is being protected are just plain ignorant.

Cotto' resume is better than Mayweathers aswell. For the doubters just look:yep

I think u have been licking that toad in ur avatar a bit too much m8. When ur boy finds some cajones and steps in the ring, we will see how well he fairs against another great fighter.

    I'll add:

He outweighs his opponents by 20 pounds on fight night... Sosa was a lightweight....

His opposition has a trend of being very feather fisted fighters... Malignaggi dick is harder then his hands, Gomez can't punch, Urkal can't punch, Ndoue has no power no matter how ripped he looks, Mosley was never a puncher about 135, Branco had NO POWER, Corley had even less power..., Abdullaev ain't much of a hitter either. Quintana has no power.. I could prllly go on.

He struggled with fighter like Judah. Tszyu destroyed prime Judah in two. Floyd toyed with him.

Has NO personality isn't exciting. Won't do anything like call a fighter out. Just fights who ever. that's kinda boring to average fans.

Great fighter, IMO would destroy Floyd, but I just wanted to point out his weaknesses.

He is a textbook fighter does everything right, so compact with punches
