Well, he would be thinking of something good in it, that's why he moved there. Who know what is good for his future but only he can.

What about from Roc Nation's point of view? Good move for them or bad? :think

ROC has 50 mil potentially invested in him.

Theyve gotta recoup that money with GATE, ADs, and PPVs.

In other words.......there's gonna have to be some big names he's fighting against, and in some large venues.

GGG and Canelo can sell out Arenas and Stadiums.

    Who else is there.

And GGG is the only one who will take a substantially shorter stack for the fight.:think

I think there is reason for Shaw split. But this is good move for Cotto.I think there will be huge loses for Roc Nation money wise. They want to take all in one step, wrong move. You can mash music with boxing shows but it will be expensive.

I think Steven Kim said Cotto is exclusive PPV or something now. Still, no way Cotto's next fight is even PPV worthy. Who will pay PPV prices to watch Cotto fight Bundrage or Mora?

No way Roc Nation makes up that money. Even if Cotto fights Canelo for his second fight, he has one more fight. If he loses to Canelo, it's over.

The more promotors there are, the better it will be for boxing. If you have one guy controlling everything, we'll get rubbish fights.

50 million towards the end of your career is no mistake, i see a lot of you guys would stay at your current job for much less money and a ****tier boss rather than work for a job thats going to take care of you and your families finances for life

cotto potentially can be involved in huge fights to end his career. and he can compete still hes always been a beast.

canelo and ggg would sell out arenas roc nation better have that in there plans other wise we really aint that interested .

If the contract value is that high (50 million) then it is a really good move for Cotto, no matter his boxing legacy will be.

He probably needs to fight Bundrage just to get his belt, so he can be A side against Canelo.

50 million dollars is great for someone who looked like their career was coming to an end after the Austin Trout fight.

Beating up a nobody in Delvin Rodriguez and a completely shot Martinez has put Cotto in the beautiful position to maximize his revenue for the remainder of his career. Getting a guaranteed amount like that is a big win for him, regardless of who he ends up fighting.
