He should never fight again. His face can't take the punches, it's always going to blow up and cut, and he took two monstrous beatings and a few regular beatings against Judah, Mosely and Clottey. All he'll do, win or lose is hrut himself and his brain for the future. Better to retire rich and with no more head shots.:rasta

sadly i agree. for his return i rather see him against a collazo, cintron, the IBF champ, hell even hatton. he needs to take a smoother fight oppossed to the real difficult fights he's been taking. Many would want him to take another easy fight but i strongly believe that would hurt him more than help him by giving him a false sense of confidence.

Dude needs to retire. He has money and respect already. Tony really damaged him with his cinder.

June is a good enough rest for Cotto. Thats about 7 months and anymore than that is pointless. He needs a new trainer ASAP, and tighten up that defense. He does this, and he can be a major player once again over night. A tuneup fight to get used to his new trainer, and a big fight following that. This would give him hopefully a year with a new trainer.

As a Cotto supporter if he doesn't make any changes in his camp, I would be very disappointed.

IF cotto doesn't work on getting his old technique back then who would even care to watch him fight ? Get a good trainer work on his old technique instead of throwing wide arm punches instead of short crisp punches with body behind them, reaching with punches chin straight up in air ???? , off balance instead of on balance at all times, and punching at targets instead of through them.

Combos anyone what happened to Head body mulitple combo punching machine Cotto ? against clottey and pacman was throwing too many 1 shot at a time punches

I agree completely, he needs a tune up fight or two to help get his feet back under him and start kicking ass again!
