hmm... cotto did go on his bicycle in the last four rounds of the fight... he got beat up by clottey in the 8th so he rode it. clottey wasn't able to respond to cotto's bike-riding though.

Let's see on those "fouls"... Clottey LEAPED into Cotto and up around his shoulder, Cotto kind of moved his shoulder and Clottey dropped like a sack of potatoes. Then he did his best soccer-guy impression.

The rabbit punch was when Clottey tried to clinch, had Cotto's right arm tucked under his arm and spun around as Cotto was punching.. it looked a little deliberate, yes.. because Clottey was pulling a ***** move. Clottey deserved to get hit.. again he did his soccer-guy impression.

The low blow was right on the belt line, NOT a nut shot at all, it hit the Ghana colors on Clottey's shorts... and AGAIN Clottey did a soccer-guy impression.

...let's diagnose the headbutt... Cotto threw a punch, then Clottey LEAD with his head right into Cotto with his hands clearly behind his head at that point. Intentional? Can't be sure, but I have a feeling it was a pure accident.

 

Cotto's new "running" style is boring to watch. The guy back peddles the whole fight. Had Clottey been more aggressive in the late rounds he would have won on 2 of the scorecards.

 

Man, if hammerhead Clottey had nutted anyone else that way they would have been out for the count. The guy's bonce is like a freakin' breeze block.

I nominate 'braveheart' or 'champ' as Cotto's ring middle name.

 

Utter bullsh!t. Cotto was outclassing Margocheato until the plaster had hardened enough to take a devastating effect.

Without his armory Margo is like a lost child as evidenced by his schooling at the non illegally wrapped hands of Mosley.

To be fair he was partially blinded and at least he gave the impression he had things under control on the backfoot. Despite his success rate Mayweather always looks totally panicked when employing his defensive strategy.

 

Clottey didnt do enough to win. He is a hard ******* but limited.

Honestly, I think this is a good post. I felt Clottey had complete control of the fight , and the only time that he did not was when he had to chase Cotto. Cotto got busted up as well .
