Miguel Torres cut from the UFC!

The UFC don't realise that they are manufacturing fighters. I don't agree with Torres comments in a formal way but informally I regularly hear and say much worse. The UFC are stopping fighters from doing or saying what they want because they are scared to be cut. Often I look at MMA fighters and think you look like a street bum who probably mugged old ladies etc but you are putting on this face for the UFC and how lovely fighters are.

If a fighter is a **** I want to know it. If he is a saint then lets see it.

 

Also, I'm sure Bellator or BAMMA say thank you.

In fairness to the UFC this is the society that we live in. They've got pressure groups out to get them any chance they get - and with most of their contracts with broadcasters and sponsors having morality clauses they've got to behave themselves. Why do you think Dana calmed down so much after being caught calling Josh Gross a *** and Loretta Hunt a *****? Because Budwiser called him, chewed him out and told him if he ever did anything like that again then it would be curtains for their deal.

Now cutting Torres is bull**** - probably a kneejerk reaction when Miguel didn't act with sufficient contrition. But now that he's came out an apologized he should be welcomed back.
