How big a threat is Bone? I expected Vazquez to be a much bigger fave, but I'm wary that the bookies know more than I do with his line 1.56/-179. Bone from the Porter fight is solid, but his footwork isn't that smooth, and I don't think he can keep up with a mover in Vazquez. Am I missing something about him? Does Vazquez not have the strength and power to succeed at 140? I want to think we're getting great value by the bookies just because he's lost 2 of his last 3, that were in fact controversal decisions.

I saw this as well. The odds have closed like crazy. Head scratcher, unless they know something we don't.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Vasquez get a flash knockdown on Bone after seeing feather fisted Algeri hurt and drop him with a bodyshot. Mickey Bey and especially Mendez might be tricky to catch clean, but Bone certainly isn't.

I respect your opinion enough to take it as confirmation for a pretty big play on Vazquez :good Bey and Mendez were difficult stylistic matchups for him, but Bone is much more hittable.

Well, to be fair he deserved to win both fights even if they were tricky. I don't enjoy watching him fight much, but that's just who he is.

This is another PBC fight and he's being brought back again. I don't think they're going to shaft him again, if he felt there was a good chance of that happening why would he even sign to fight under that banner a second time (Third?)?

Reminds me of the hard luck Aaron Martinez getting shafted against Guerrero. Then being given another chance shortly afterwards by the same promoter and being given the nod even though he was a 14 to 1 underdog to win against Alexander.
