Kermit Cintron has been talked about now and Ishe Smith as possible matches for Miguel.

Do you think that these opponents are too big for a comeback fight? Back to Back losses could spell disaster for his career no?

I think he should take it more easy his first time or two back to get some momentum going. The air of indestructability that he carried is gone now... he is more suseptable I think. People are going to come at him knowing he can be beat you know?

I really became more of a Cotto fan in the fight against Margo until I saw how he lost... if he gets another L real quick I am afraid he may walk away from the sport for good..
What do you all think? Who should Cotto fight next?

Cintron is the perfect fight for him. Its a tough challenge and it will give him credibility again. I dont think Cintron can go 12 with Cotto.

Cotto can take on any challenge at 147, including anybody at 140 and most at 154

I personally would love Cotto to win the Oscar De La Hoya sweepstakes but since that seems to be far fetched, I'd say Cintron. It's a fight against a credible opponent that Cotto can look good against. Cotto is the superior boxer and I really can't see the Cintron being able to handle his power.

Ishe shouldn't even be mentioned in a fight with Cotto.

The best fight for him is against Cintron.

What about Williams I think that would be a good match. If he wins that would make the rematch with margo that much better. I'd actually wouldn't mind paying 4 it.

Cotto should fight Clottey next. And Margarito should fight Williams. Winners fight each other to unify. Marquez and Vasquez didnt take tune ups and their wars were from another dimention!

Ishe Smith is the perfect comback opponent, Not too much power or workrate he is a defensive specialsit who tends to tire in the later rds. He has recognition from the contender and FNF on ESPN. Quality opponent yet not someone who has the skills to overwhelm him and should be handled by Cotto. Then Cintron, Clottey and finally a rematch with Margo

Clottey would be much to tough as a comeback fight, and a tough fight for him even in his top form. I think he puts cintron back where he belongs as a fringe contender.

Cotto gets owned by Williams he is just too tall and long and touches Cotto for 12 easy decision. Cotto needs to grow three inches in height and reach and he would bust Williams ass.

He should definitely stay away from Ishe Smith. If he wins; he won't get much credit. I think this is a bad style match up for him. Ishe is a defensive wizard is a big welterweight. Cotto would probably out work him for a close decision, but he won't look good doing it.
