Donaire-Navarro would be a good scrap.

But they can handle themselves better under pressure and workrate and they still didn't accomplish much against Mijares.

Mijares easily just beat Navarro 9 rounds to 3, beat Arce 11 rounds to 1.

What so impressive about a Split Decision??? Donaire will KO mijares. I don't think he can even hurt Donaire.

    Mijarez vs Montiel Please!!!!!

Castillo is good for Arce to go back to 115.

Handle themselves better under pressure? Dude went up against one of the hardest punchers in the divison in Darchinyan as an underdog and won. That's handling yourself under some pressure.

You clearly did not watch the fight did you. It was not a split decision. There was a scorecard mix-up.:patsch

Stop being blinded by your nationality for once.

Mijares takes Donaire to school, college, and on the way to the pension office. It would be a 8 round to 4 UD for Mijares.

    Adios amigos.

Imagine Donaire versus Mijaries sometime in 09 after Donarie has knockouted out Hussein, Wonjongkam, and say, Darchinyan again, and after Mijaries has dismantled Kirilov and maybe Alexander Munoz. Yow, that's a hot matchup!

Montiel did not beat Gorres at his hometurf, Gorres was robbed on his hometurf and you know that too

You are crazy, how anyone could have scored that fight for Gorres is biased. I watched the fight with Filipino commentors as well, who make lamply seem objective in Hoya fights. Dont be fooled, Montiel hurt Gorres on several occasions and would have KO'd him had Gorres not held on for dear life in the second half of the fight.

If you count the blown non-warning KDs then yes its possible to see montiel walk away with the W. But if you had Montiel winning more rounds then Gorres then you're reaching out of your ass for Montiel. Gorres landed and threw more punches then Montiel in all but 2 rounds and in good margins too not slim ones

Doesnt matter, Montiel landed the harder and sharper punches without any doubt. Montiel walked right through anything Gorres threw. Add to that Montiel basically KD Gorres when Gorres decided to tackle Montiel rather than go down. Gorres also held on in the last round to avoid getting KD again because he was ready to go. Gorres was holding excessively, those point deductions were more than fair. Gorres should be happy all he got was a few points taken away or he wouldnt have finished the fight had he not held. Like I said, I cant see anyone scoring that fight for Gorres unless youre bias toward Gorres.

That not the criteria of judging rounds.
You cant go with the one who lands the more harder shots, when one fighter is throwing and landing overwhelming more than the other fighter/. you have to be a big fan or mexican to have Montiel winning more rounds in that fight.
