I like a fight with Munoz much more than Kirilov.

And after Montiel gets by Gorres, then we'll have a true linealship fight between Montiel/Mijares.

I wanna see Montiel-Mijares as well.

But don't worry Amsterdam, I got Mijares by easy decision in that one. :good

Might be a little competitive, Montiel is very good. Munoz is good, but hardly top class like Montiel and is at a bad style disadvantage on top of it, it may get nasty like the Arce fight.

Donaire is the one that will be shredded the worst, if Mijares/Donaire happens.

    Competitive? For GOD-Mijares?

No, I agree. Was very impressed by Montiel in his last fight, especially getting to see him live... Mijares brilliance in his last fight was more subtle, but still a thing of beauty to watch.

I wouldn't get too excited Amsterdam. I've read from several different sources that Arce is fighting Munoz next as the main event for the next "Latin Fury" PPV.I think Boxrec is jumping the gun like they do alot.

Also, the Kirilov fight was scrapped because Mijares camp wanted the fight in Mexico, and Kirilov's team wanted the fight in neutral grounds. They couldn't agree so they scrapped it.

Whoever Mijares fights next, I really do believe we will see a true lineal champ at 115 by the end of this year or early next year.... Christian Mijares, Undisputed Super Flyweight Champion of the world for 2008.

Yeah, he allows himself to be drawn into inside fights that don't benefit him to make himself look more mortal, to give the aura that they have a chance and so that he gets matches.

When he gets all the titles and becomes a popular fighter who can make the lower weight fighters good paydays, he'll just start winning every round and won't give a ****.

Probably KO some of the mortals in the 1st just out of spite.:blood

Damn, I just want none of Mijares' time wasted, getting another solid win on his resume in May would be optimum and Munoz is the right kind of guy.

Who else is available that would be worth it outside of Kirilov or Munoz? I mean someone that wouldn't draw criticism, Navarro was a good opponent to showcase his skills because he's in the top 5-7 in ability.

Arce's got a great shot against anybody he can land fully flush on, Montiel may be one of those types for him. Arce may even be punching harder at 118.

    munoz is ok with me...

mijares will **** him up bad..

mijares will unify the division by beating munoz, montiel, and even kirilov if he wants a piece of him..

donaire will challenge him but he will lose..

mijares will be p4p by the end of the year..

    great year for SF division!!

Beating all of those guys and doing it impressively would give him a damn good argument for P4P top 3.:yep

excellent guy to show case his skills against. munoz is like a small mayorga, but does'nt have the work rate, timing or punch volume. little in terms of boxing skills, a come forward fighter who would play right into mijares hands. good win to pick up a belt as well.

i would also like christian to excorcise the demon known as koki kameda from this world and send him ot the depths of hell if he ever steps foot 3 lbs north.
