Dirrell has talent, but he seems too complacent, and the lapses in concentration he's showing could and more than likely would come into effect at the elite level. Needs to tighten up.
2nd round featured Dirrell walking backwards the whole time shooting accurate jabs out every now and then. Taking a break after his heavy workrate in the first round, but still his round clearly. Oganov can't land or get his punches ofgf.
Oganov just walks toward Dirrell waiting for him to stand still in order to try and hit him! But Dirrell on the move all the time, Oganov almost not landing anything. Good chin Oganov has, but unless he hurts Dirrell with something big or Dirrell tires late, this is gonna be a shutout. Dirrell 2-0.
The body shots are going to break down Oganov. He doesnt like those. The gap in skill is about what we expected.
Oganov pushes Dirrell down onto the canvas to start the round. Direll having a Curtis Stevens moment as he kind of runs for a little bit in the middle of round 3. He still lands at will and with ease...but he may be tired from that 800 punch 1st round. Lands a bunch of uppercuts in a row to end round 3. 3-0 with a 10-8 1st on my cards.
Yep, exactly my thoughts. Btw Dirrell 3-0, easily. Some great power shots at the end of the round he landed.
If Direll has a problem, it's that he goes to the ropes WAY too much whenever he's touched. Oganov uses a low blow to get an advantage and is trying to put the hurt on Dirrell. Cheech Marin ****ed up that call.
