Vic in a one sided beatdown. Fight will only last around or two.

I cant wait for this one. Mijares should be moved up a few spots PFP if he wins.

It should be a better fight than that.

Mijares will stop Vic. He's not a big puncher, but the timing and sharpness of his shots is what I think will get to Vic. Z Gorres is not a banger, and he had Vic ready to more than once. I think it's safe to say, the Donaire KO had some lasting effects on Vic's whiskers. Though it never came to play against Kirilov, since he barely laid a glove on Vic. I think Vic should have went after Montiel or Arce. Much better match ups for him, stylistically.

Whilst Darchinyan's win over Kirilov was very impressive and has put him right in the frame at super-fly, the fact is Mijares will box rings around him and possibly stop him late.

Whilst there styles are nothing alike, this will be similar to Hopkins-Pavlik.

Vic tends to get disheartened when he cannot intimidate his opponents, and Mijares is going to look as far from intimidated as possible.

All we need now is Monteil to beat Z Gorres and a true super-fly fight can be forged. Let's just hope Mijares shows some interest soon, as Montiel is not going to stick around much longer, he wants to move up to Bantam, which needs someone to inject some life into it.

Shame Montiel is rarely fighting these days. Is the Gorres fight even still on?

Vic is a terrific fighter, but Mijares is top 5 p4p IMO. This is going to be very one-sided, likely a late round TKO for CM.
