mijares is already hitting his prime and nonito as of this moment would look silly against him, although i'm really impressed with donaire's progress as a fighter, basing on his perfrmance against maldonado and darchi. years from now who knows?

mijares either by sd or ud12

donaire wins against munoz. donaire has better skills, faster (both hand and foot) and taller/bigger (donaire is a natural superfly) than munoz.

Both my favorites, both classy. Hard to choose right now. But i would have to give a slight nod to Mijares should they fight based on his better resume, experience and skills set...UD.

get donaire, montiel, and mijares. pick any two of them, get them in the ring against each other and youu'll get a great fight. it's a pity that donaire still hasn't fought since obliterating maldonaldo and it is a disgrace that montiel is fighting maldonaldo when he got his ass handed to him by donaire at 112

montiel fighting maldonado??!! now, that is a **** fight. :-( actually, i'm not that impressed by montiel at all. gorres gave him hell and should've won that fight. he's definitely the weakest of the three. he fights a lot like darchinyan.

yeah. donaire's inactivity is a mystery. he's supposed to fight hussein(2X) in dubai but apparently the fight didn't push through. there was also talk of him fighting kirilov but darchinyan got the fight instead for some reason. even an arce fight was rumored.

Donaire needs to be set to do his work and also freezes up when hit. Against Mijares he will be repetedly stung by the jab causing himself to have to reset constantly. His defensive flaws (hand's down/backing straight up) will leave him open for Mijares' counters and get him tagged alot. Relying on footwork and athleticism for defence will not help him against a great counterpuncher like Mijares.

Mijares is most open for the right hand (Although he has defended it better lately) and this may get him hit a few times due to Donaire's speed. Nonito doesn't hit as hard as Arce or Munoz, so I doubt he can crack Mijares' iron chin. The advantage in workrate, jab, accuracy and timing will alow Mijares to control Donaire from the outside and constantly get his punches off first.

Donaire may take a couple of the early rounds (Mijares is a slow starter), but Mijares will pull away and begin to dismantle Nonito as the fight wears on.

    Mijares UD 9-3/10-2

I dont see what you see. Donaire has very fast hands and throws his shots from alot of different angles. That isnt a fighter that needs to be set or set up. And Mijares being a slow starter might get him in trouble or even stopped vs this guy. And I have not been hit by either Donaire or Munoz so I cant say who hits harder but Donaire is bigger having fought as high as bantumweight, keep in mind he came down to fight Darchinyan
