Does he have a shot at beating Vic and then montiel, back to back?

And If Mijares beats Vic and then defeats Montiel to become the second ultimate champ(4 belts, only done by bhop before), and defends his title 4-5 times, does that makes him the greatest junior bantam weight of all time right? We would have to compare him to Johnny Tapia and Khaosai Galaxy.

Personally, i think if he defends at least 5 times his 3 titles, that gets him over Tapia, and perhaps over galaxy if he gets the 4th belt.

He should beat Vic, and he'll probably take a tune-up fight and/or mandatory before taking Montiel. Do I think he can do it? Sure. I see no reason why he can't become undisputed at 115 in the next year, plus take on Donaire.

I don't know if he passes Tapia at Junior Bantamweight. It probably does. Tapia cleared out the weight class when it was strong, but I'm inclined to say the current crop is even stronger, especially if Donaire moves up as well. A resume with wins over Kawashima (twice), Arce, Munoz, Darchinyan, Montiel and Donaire is probably stronger than Tapia's resume, and it's definitely stronger than Galaxy's resume.

The correct term is, super unified champ. Not ultimate champ.

He has the skills too but Montiel has a great shot of beating him. Let's see what happens.

He is a great fighter and can pull it off, wouldn't be surprised if Vic throws him in the cheap seats though
