Mikaela Laurén: Spotlight On Women's Boxing-The Swedish Barbarian Queen Of The North

Mikaela Laurén is a 5'7 38 year old Super Welterweight with a 23-3 8 KO's !KO loss. Born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. Known as Destiny, Mikaela is one of the scariest and oddest looking women's boxers I've ever seen she's looks like the love child of Dolph Lundgren and Brigitte Nielsen. But even though she's very intimidating looking she has been knocked out once, but Cecilia Braekus was her conqueror, which is fine due to the fact that Braekus is probably the bet female boxer of this era. The loss to Loli Munoz is unexplainable, but her other loss is to The Kazakh One Woman Army Christina Hammer who's 5'11 undefeated and is currently fighting at Middleweight. She started out as a swimmer and lived in the US for awhile and competed in the 2004 Olympics, when she retired from swimming she had won 16 National Championships and then she got arrested for possession of anabolic steroids and a weapon and spent a year and a half in jail. So when she got out she took up boxing at the advanced age of 32, so all things considered she's done okay for a novice who started as late as she did.
