Haven't heard squat about the guy since his close September loss to Diaz (I scored it 2-1 for Aina). I liked the kid right off the bat based on that fight and have since looked into him further. Judging by the video available on him, and how tough he was matched early on, I think he's pretty good; better than his slightly over .500 record would indicate. And he's still young, with plenty of opportunity to improve. Exciting style, too. Plenty of upside, IMO. I wonder why EliteXC hasn't bothered making him a tv commodity, after he won not only the live crowd in his hometown but the tv audience, if not the decision, from Diaz?
i was at that fight and unfortunately me my jiu jitsu intructor who was the lone judge who scored it for aina and the fans got to see in our opinion the rightfull winner lose the fight, but in the next elite xc here he will be fighting my kickboxing coach kaleo kwan in a rubber match, they are very equally matched, and it will make for a very exciting fight, i dont think it will be on showtime though, probably be on the webcast portion of the fight...WAR KALEO!!!
i know so far that they will be running this card like they did the last one, and that is an elite xc undercard, then the actual elite xc show which will be on showtime, then the icon portion of the show after which will be streamed live on proelite.com, kj noons is the main event for the elite xc card, and kala "kolohe" hose will be headlining the icon portion, kala is the icon champ and just recently won his title in a very exciting upset victory against phil baroni, ill talk to my coaches to try to get what informatiuon i can next week when i train
