Fight card is great, so great GBP moved the Mares vs Moreno fight date to the end of October instead of trying to compete with TR on this day.

Mike looks quite big and strong in those workouts. Can't wait for this. Hopefully he does it! But Rios is a little stronger, I feel.

Rios will be just as IF NOT bigger than Alvarado..

Time to see what Rios is really made of... and see his true boxing ability.

Boxrec has Alvarado at 5'9" and Rios at 5'8" but looking at the first set of press conf pics where they were together, the height differance looks greater.

Alvarado is a beast, sparring with Super Welters and Middleweights. Even thought Rios TKO'd Acosta, Rios has rocked and hurt in that fight. Alvarado is stronger and hits harder than Acosta. Unless Rios has improved on his defence and can work behind a good jab, I don't see him being the winner here. There is always that punchers chance, and Rios is a brutal puncher. But my money is on ALVARADO.

Rios is a whole nother animal. on top of that, he has more experience and technically better.

Alvarado isn't as tough as everyone thinks. Rios is going to have him on the backfoot and might even outbox him. bet that.

Rios technically better? Maybe on the inside but that's about it.

Rios out-boxing an opponent? Come on man, Rios has no head or waist movement and just walks in a straight line. He never makes adjustments in fights, just cranks up the tempo and increases his punch output. That's not how you out box someone. Rios breaks down opponents with pressure.

Sure Rios could very well beat Alvarado, but it won't be by out-boxing him. Check out how Alvarado made his adjustment after getting tore up early against Prescott. That took skills, focus, and yes toughness. peace
