Mike Alvarado in jail for 9 months?

    Did I miss this or is this a new development?

    Any news on the Peterson bros. and Alvarado?

    Dan Rafael

    Anthony is supposed to return from knee surgery later this summer. Right now, he is penciled on Aug. 15 off TV on the undercard of the Donaire PPV. Lamont won a belt a couple of months ago and his schedule is not set. Alvarado, unfortunately, is in jail in Colorado on a probation violation and won't be out for about nine months, which means he probably doesn't fight until at least next summer.

    I know is old news but, vicente mosquera the guy that Valero go tru life and death to win, is serving in jail since 2006 for killing a fisherman.

    Doesnt surprise me these guys are trained to beat the living ketchup out of their opponents. Its not a surprise that they got a bad temper here and there. Alvarado will be back he has a big following and hes young.

    According to Dan Rafael, Alvarado is out of the joint and will return to the ring February 20th on Top Rank's new Fox Sports Espanol series headlined by Kendall Holt.

    Yeah but that was confirmed as being untrue.

    His problems with the law were realted to a DUI I believe.

    I also recall a situation where his wife was shot in the leg during a drive-by at there home. Lots of drama with that cat.
