Mike Alvarado won by TKO in RD7 over once beaten power puncher Michel Rosales. This was a good all action fight. Alvarado goes on to a possible title fight soon ?
To be honest never seen either before but from their records and what I had read I thought Rosales by KO, I checked youtube and only found fight footage of Rosales v Esalas. Seeing how slow Rosales seemed I changed my mind and decided on Alvarado. It was definately a good fight glad Robot16 saw it too.
Alvarado was rumored to be fighting Ricardo Torres, before the Holt rematch came about. So maybe he'll take on the winner of that fight? And why is fightnews saying it was a premature stoppage? Rosales was rocked badly at the end of the previous round, and was in serious trouble when the ref called it.
