This is a good fight, not necessarily two superstars, but they should make for some nice action. I thought, if Bradley did fight on the undercard, he could possibly face Alvarado but I guess thats not likely now.
I'm looking forward to seeing Prescott again. Not for anything to do with Khan, but to see if he develops as a good fighter in his own right.
i'm an Alvarado fan but because of these jail stints his career is moving at a snail's pace. Freakin 31 years old already. It's a solid, fun opener, though. I would have preferred a Vernon Paris but whatever. So it's this, Brandon Rios vs ?? and maybe Mike Jones vs Lujan? I'll reserve judgement until we find out who Rios' opponent is.
I think Mike Jones vs. Sebastian Lujan is on the Cotto-Margarito card and Brandon Rios is supposed to fight on his own Showtime card. **** gets confusing with so many cards taken place back to back. Steve Kim said John Molina was going to face Rios, but Rios turned him down. And there's talks of Luis Cruz vs. Juan Carlos Burgos on the Pacquaio-Marquez III undercard, which I think is a terrific match-up if it materializes.
that's right, I recall Kim saying that too. A lot to sort out. Also Ramos-Rigondeaux confirmed for Cotto-Marg. Slowly things are taking shape.
31 years old? :-( . Yeah I would much rather see him against Paris, but should still be a good scrap against Prescott.
I know people dont like it but in my opinion putting mike jones up vs mosley would be the right move now. Jones will beat him up and look good in front of a lot of viewers and jump up to contender for a belt status. After that try to match him up with senchenko so that he can catch a belt.
Alright, star making turn for Mike! I really like the kid, but he isn't actually anywhere near as good as this will make him look. :yep
