Both square up on the inside, so it would be entertaining. But Danny's better defensively and an overall better boxer with some good speed. Alvarado eats too many left hooks, he would be knocked out late in the fight.
if dude can get put on ***** street from a jab, there's no way he will be able to be on his feet after one of those hooks..
Mike ate some monstrous lefts from Rios, which I think are harder than Danny's punches. Mike also has some fast hands, a great chin/recovery himself, and looking at the jab rights Danny was taking from Amir, I think Mike could trouble him greatly early.
Rios does not throw a left hook harder than Garcia. And Danny being caught by Khan, who has amazing speed, means nothing.
i'm not convinced that Rios hits harder than danny.. he doesn't have that one shot, lights out, type of power.. he wears you down and puts a beating on you. Alvarado's chin is suspect. he did a great job of avoiding flush shots after he got rocked.. after about the 4rth round, alvarado was moving side to side and kept a tight guard, and Rios barely landed a solid shot ever since... that ain't happening with Danny, which whom i think is the better "boxer" out of all 3 three. he's a solid counter puncher and timed quick handed Khan from round 1. he took some good shots from Holt, so im assuming his chin is solid. but of course alvarado could look like a good boxer in front of a target like Rios danny isn't a punching bag and is probably faster than alvarado..
I think Rios has kO power in both hands, unlike Danny who is a one handed fighter, IMHO. Danny gets touched by Morales, Khan, Holt, and Campbell. He isn't a defense magician. Mike will be able to touch him and like I said Mike took flush right hands and lefts from Rios a harder puncher and was able to take them and recover from those shots, I don't know if Garcia would be able to hang i to trade.
Danny may be in one sense a "one handed fighter", but he sets up that one shot with better footwork than Rios, more speed, better defense and a jab that he actually uses. I would pick Garcia over Alvarado in an exchange all day, because Danny's punches are shorter and he doesn't just stand there to be hit while trading.
I'd actually favor Alvarado based on having a style advantage. He's a little faster, more polished and longer....things I think Danny would struggle with. But of course Danny has that left hook that could put Alvarado on ***** street.
Rios hurts people with his ****ing jab, a jab. Sorry but I don't think Danny will ever have that power and like I said Mike was able to handle that this fight and the first one, which I think was stopped prematurely. I think Mike handles Danny or he gets a nice points win. Garcia has a nice left hook that he times, but that is it, I think Mike's right hand off the jab puts him down and down hard. I think Ruslan beats Danny as well. I believe Judah will KO Danny
Danny still hasn't proven to me that he can hang with the big dogs at 140. Crispy was just the right guy at the right time with t-brad, chino, Alexander, and Marquez leaving the division. I believe mike can drop him.
