Alvarado by decision. He made the adjustment for his rematch with Rios and actually boxed, although not much he did enough to win the fight. I'm not sure Ruslan knows how NOT to keep coming forward.

Ruslan has this. Mike won't be able to keep him off for the full 12.

:huh I never knew the dude was the regular tester for TV fights. So, were you impressed with his efforts with Bradley? Was he the same guy from the regular Friday night fights or did you spot improvement ??:think
    Thanks

That I did forget....oooops....Tim is not a truly hard puncher but Mike is and more concise with his target, Bradley was throwing wild and eyes shut at times, so will be waiting to see how Russian takes REAL PAIN:yikes

However I still think Russian late TKO on Mad Mike:smoke

Not a bad fight at all. Winner faces Bradley/Marquez winner I'm thinking.

Provodnikov has had a few good fights. Both of his losses were very close. I have watched 5 fights with him and he is getting better. Freddy roach has him as Manny's sparing partner and they train together often. I am not saying he will be the world champ, but I agree with Zombieguy if he wins he will likely fight the winner of Bradley vs marquez. so he is probably only one fight away from another title shot. A fight I think he will win. Alvarado looked good against rios, but Rios has almost zero defense and fights in a phone booth(very easy to hit). Provodnikov will not be that easy, he has real power in both hands and can hurt people on the inside or outside. Alvarado could win the fight but he will have to go through hell to do it.

I would not be surprised if Provodnikov knocked Alvarado out. This will be a fan's fight...............

Alvarado's first inclination is to work behind the jab so I don't think he's gonna get too crazy with Provodnikov. Rewatch Rios/Alvarado II and you'll notice that he followed the gameplan instead of just trying to make Arum and the crowd happy.
