    Alvarado already breathing heavy, his face is a little jacked too. However, it was a close first round but I think Provo edged it.

    Alvarado is dancing around Provodnikov and jabbing into the crown of Provodnikov. Hard body hooks by Provodnikov after chasing Alvarado around the ring unable to reach him. Alvarado counters with jabs and right hands circling off the ropes. Provodnikov was stunned there, wobbling on a single left briefly. Provodnikov recovers and resumes his attack. Provodnikov paws out his left jab and stays a couple of feet distant as Alvarado, now turned southpaw, waves a counter right hook at him.
