Provodnikov is driving in right hands to the body. Double jab, right hand by Provodnikov. Alvarado is circling into the ropes, sitting on them, and springing in with jabs. Rights to the body by Alvarado, straight and long. Several jabs to the face by Alvarado. Provodnikov stays on top of him and chops a right hand into Alvarado's head, then jumps backward flurrying as Alvarado counters with a jab.

Round 6

Provodnikov is eating jabs and uppercuts wading in. Alvarado is lining up perfect straight rights while moving in straight lines or circling to keep Provodnikov at arm's length and his own backside off the ropes. Provodnikov is leading with the left hook and usually missing the first one but following with thudding right hands and more left hooks, generally starting to clip Alvarado flush by the third or fourth shot. Alvarado stands up to them and backs up in a controlled pace, landing sharp counter right hands. Alvarado tucks his chin and raises his gloves while circling, putting in hard right uppercut counters picking his spots as Provodnikov comes in with heavy left hooks. Chopping right by Alvarado, and a left uppercut while sidestepping. They grind together and Alvarado jabs Provodnikov in the face. Alvarado ducks a Provodnikov jab springing off the ropes and plugs in a few body shots.
