How would you rate Mike Arnaoutis? i know he's past prime now , but could he have achieved more than he did?

He didn't have much stopping power and wasn't all that fast. Think he topped out with his win against Urango (who went on to be a champ). He was an okay fringe contender but I feel that was going to be his ceiling regardless

He (or should i say his trainer/manager) and Rocky and Paulie Malignaggi had some pretty interesting beef before paulie fought cotto. Was some pretty good articles about them that you can still uncover that could have amounted to something fun to watch the hype of.

I thought he fought damn well and arguably could have gotten a Draw against Josesito recently.

The fight was ruled a draw, though it easily could have been scored for Arnaoutis. That was a really entertaining fight and highly slept on. Probably because it was somewhat hard to find until recently...

Arnaoutis also had a wildly entertaining fight with Leo Santa Cruz's brother Roberto, who now suffers with lupus. Haven't seen that fight in ages, and would love to see it again.

He was a very good fighter. He was matched tough, especially when in mid-comeback in 2009 when he built up a little momentum and got ranked only to squander it. He could therefore have been handled a little more carefully to achieve more on paper (i.e. biding his time and beating a paper titlist) and between that and some untimely bad luck, namely getting robbed against Tim Coleman, he probably did end up having a bit less to show for his abilities than he should've.
