Aldo has that Anderson Silva vibe going on. That vibe where as soon as they start to work you know the difference in class between the two fighters in the ring, and it was obvious last night. He's the new big thing.

Until he loses, when he will be a hype job you knew sucked all the time right?

Nope, I never bought into Torres the way most guys did, though he was very good technically. I buy into Aldo 100%. He has the total package.

So if he fails to meet the mark set by Torres, many questions come to mind: are they both hype jobs? Does Aldo losing justify Torres as the real deal? Will Aldo just have been unlucky whereas Torres had it coming for being a hype job?

Hype job implies lack of actual credentials, who has more at 135 than Torres?

I totally get where you're coming from Beebs but it could be argued even if Aldo's magical journey comes to an end against a yet unknown quantity that featherweight is just the deeper division, all told. Personally I think 135 is pretty deep, but would certainly entertain the argument that it pales in comparison.
