    One interesting thing about the "knockdown" against Smecca is that a brazilian newspaper (Folha de São Paulo) said that although Jofre was dropped the referee didn´t ruled it as a knockdown.....

    Never thought Jofre had excellent speed (pretty average on that front for a Bantamweight), but apart from that little tidbit he's pretty much spot on.

    Then again everyone on this forum believes Joe Louis was a speedster, so I'll probably take some heat for that.
