    LaMotta for me although it's impossible to rule out such a gifted technician.

    Klompton probably knows more about Gibbons than most ,certainly more than me! Maybe he can give us his insight here?

    From the little I know of the St Paul Phantom (I'm from there also) I would see a constantly moving and non tiring Mike drive Jake up the wall with how elusive he could be, but some accounts of Gibbon's style speak of a low punch rate also. Jake the stalker lands few punches and Mike less, sd win for the bronx bull.

    Tough fight to call. Probably favor Gibbons but Lamotta was pretty big, strong, and in his prime threw a lot of punches. If could stay on Gibbons itd be a tough fight but Mike was so slippery and good on the inside and out that he could probably handle jake.
