I'm sure it won't. You don't get paid for overtime. Mike is very focussed but i'm sure he'll be saving everything for friday. He was very calm before the Khan fight.

it doesnt matter what happens at the weigh in, unlike other boxers micheal as fought ricky simply wont be bothered by all his antics, its friday that matters and the champion will stay the champion.

With Gomez sometimes you just have to stand and fight. Arthur failed and Khan had his bad moments. Burns v Gomez is a great fight.

Really looking forward to this one, I hope Gomez wins. "Tell the papers I'm going to smash Ricky's face in...." - class.

The beeper would be worn out after about five minutes. To give Stoney his dues he was in at the beginning of Ruizs career and he took an average fighter to the heights of a world title, sometimes we underestimate the impact that a trainer, or corner can have on their charges... a lot of Normans reactions are driven by an emotional attachment more than anything else.

    :good

I'm waiting for Michael to say that he would beat Ricky in the ring then drag him outside and do him again in the car park. Defo looking forward to this now...its a difficult call, it could go either way, especially early, but I think Burns will take it mid-late stoppage (I hope that i'm wrong, no offence Billy)
