Yes they did use 10 oz because thats the requirement for fight at 154 http://www.livestrong.com/article/499018-what-are-the-rules-for-the-ounce-sizes-of-boxing-gloves/
I am a 5 time national amature champion I forget more than you know.... My point is mike jones didn't need to use 8oz gloves in the bailey fight, it was something suggested and he agreeded to do it
You're record? You don't know this sport like me your a fan that's all You are .... And you have been exposed many times here
Learn the rules of boxing and learn the weights/gloves. :hi: You're making a fool of yourself!!! :deal 8 oz= 147 and below 10 oz= 154 and above Don't forget to thank me.
I am a national champion .... You ever trained for a fight ? Ever? You ever get hit with 8oz gloves ? At 154? You ever have a swollen knee while running a day before the fight and had to get it drained or be fined? You ever try to make weight ? Only drinking pedolite? You ever get ur second wind in a fight ?Your a fan you don't don't understand this sport inside that box .. Ever spar Floyd for the biggest fight of his life ? Or oscar ?
Please link me where Floyd used 12 oz gloves like you said in a professional 147 lb fight, I have several links of him using 8 oz. Please stop embarassing yourself any further, you're just a stupid troll. You're wrong and you know it. I could care less about what you are or what you were, you're wrong here and you're just an idiot. Sorry. :deal Don't expect me to suck your balls just because you were a national champion or a 5 time amateur champion or whatever. I speak my mind and you're going to have to accept that. You're COMPLETELY WRONG, you're just trolling because of your Floyd hating agenda.
Why is this guy not banned ? I was in the camp I was his sparring partner for the entire camp Vs oscar
In NEVADA, the 147 & below weigh classes wear 10oz gloves unless both parties agree to use 8oz. This was amended following the deaths of 2 boxers in one year in Las Vegas.
I think he might be referring to you'r comment on cotto refusing the 8oz gloves which could not have refused because at 154 you can not fight with 8oz gloves
When is the last time 2 guys in NEVADA wore 10 oz for a 135 lb fight? As OP stated, Floyd wore 12 oz gloves. Can somebody tell me when?
