Mike Jones is still one of the best prospects in boxing

    despite what happened in the last fight, he is still the real deal imo. I actually read some people say Brook would beat Jones. well that is the biggest load of bs I ever heard because with all due respect Brook looks the worst of the British prospects and imo Jones kills him in 6 rounds.

    He will beat Soto-Karass, but Canelo wrecks him. WTF was he thinking throwing 50 punch combo lol I take it he has not fought very much Mexicans fighters to know most don't go down or give up

    Man Canelo is a full-fledged 154-er and hits hard. Jones is hittable, it's his offense I like.

    He was alil overzealous throwing punches goin after Soto-Karrass like that, hope he learnt from it or he can kiss his 0 goodbye!

    I dnt believe he is a hypejob tho, he has got sum serious talent imo

    No i think hes the next American hype job.

    He needs to take some serious time to develop his skills, because he has some power. But he lost to Soto Karass that night and im sure he loses to Kell Brook

    Let's be honest here, both him and Brook have fought stiffs so far. Soto-Karass was his first step up in opposition and he made a total arse of it, although that can be put down to his incredible stupidity in the second round, which is honestly one of the most idiotic things I've ever seen done in a boxing ring. He get's credit from me for giving Soto-Karass a rematch though, he obviously acknowledges he's got a wrong he has to right there. The guy clearly has a lot of physical talent, but his ring intelligence has to be in questioned after that last fight, it might just have been a moment of madness, but if he makes a habit of fighting stupid I can't see him going very far.

    A Kell Brook fight would be interesting right now. I'd still tip Jones to win it even though he looked pretty bad in his last fight, which he lost on my card.

    Be nice if they could make Brook-Jones now. Lets see for sure who the better prospect is.

    Good Luck with this thread...The replies and responses you'll get will continue with the ESB Theme of "Certain" fighters being labeled a Hype-job/Bum/Overrated because they were in close fight and didn't look sensational by winning every minute of every round. Thus their consensus opinion will be: "HE'S A BUM".:-(
