Khan's handspeed doesnt mean **** because 1. He has no defense (you're a **** if you Khan has good reflexes) and 2. Khan doesnt have enough power to deter Jones.
Randall Bailey has been shot for YEARS, and has never won a meaningful fight in his career. No reason to believe he will now. Jones will pound Bailey.
You are aware that Jones is an effective body puncher, and Khan has NO defense to the body, nor any infighting skills, do you? Jesus Christ! Peterson exposes Khan, and his groupies STILL cant see how limited he is. Jones is a much better rounded fighter. He simply doesnt have the flash and hype that Khan artist has.
Jones has never fought anyone close to the best fighters Khan has faced. It's easy to look good when you have as much size and ability as Jones while facing less than world-class opponents. We have seen some kinks in Khan's armor or holes in his game, but many of them have been revealed while fighting world-class fighters.
Well then it's a damn good sign Jones and his handlers have so much faith in their boy that they are matching him up with the best available competition.
I didn't even agree or disagree with your statement yet you go of on one claiming I'm a fan boy? I laughed because it was so subtle how you fitted that bit in their. Just for your little hussy fit I'll take Khan
Ya I agree. When Khan puts up his guard, Mike has a good looping right hand that can land around his guard and go to his body. Kinda like this This content is protected This content is protected
Just cuz Khan loses to some home town decision you guys like any punk can beat him now. Mike Jones would be a water testing fight for Khan at 147, Khan would box the guy easy.
Not necessarily. Khan would be dwarfed by Jones at 147. Would very much look like a WW vs. a JrWW IMHO. I wouldn't be surprised if the lesser accomplished, but bigger guy won.
Every time I watch a Jones fight I go in thinking "this will be the time he strings it all together and dominates his opponent," but then it never happens. I mean the guy is MASSIVE for a WW, with very good physical tools and some skills, but he has never faced anyone near world-class and never really dominated fighters that he should have an easy time with. There's just something about him that makes me think he isn't going to go on and achieve much.
Fair post. And feel the same. Waiting for that breakout performance, even vs. a lower level fighter. But we haven't seen that yet. I certainly wouldn't count him out vs. Khan though. Unless Khan had a couple good fights at 147 first.
