Gashino Yancy, of Staten Island but originally hailing from Liberia, seems like a genuine prospect. :deal

The hapless ring announcer (Steve Mittman, the commentator said his name was) goofed again. He announced this a majority decision before catching himself.

    "Er - SPLIT!"

Maybe you should KSAB if you are going to have that job. :conf I'm just saying.

Co-main event up next. There is one more 4-rounder listed on Boxrec. They might be saving it for a swing or walkout bout.

    Lamanna is unbeaten but untested.

Davis has close to an even .500 record but has faced some world class opposition.

    Round 1

Lamanna is sticking jabs into Davis' forehead and pulling away, both gloves lowered as Davis comes at him with left hooks. Davis is piling the pressure onto the youngster but can't force him into full retreat. Lamanna keeps jabbing down at Davis and taking steps aside. Davis bashes up top with a right hand on the coif.

    10-9 Davis

    Round 2

Lamanna is short with his jab as Davis hits the brakes and hunkers down low. Davis steps in and cannonballs big rights up from the chin. Lamanna sidesteps and jabs. Davis throws jabs and rights moving in, batting down Lamanna's jab. Hard left hook from Davis, fighting his way inside, sloughing under Lamanna's jabs.

    10-9 Davis

    20-18 Davis

"Cornflake" has five inches on "Da Truth" but is getting bullied and seems to not fully understand how to box tall.

    Round 3

Lamanna is backing away, missing with the jab over Davis' head and landing his long plunging right hand on either Davis' thigh or the backside of his arm. Davis is marching in confidently and drilling in hard jabs with the mallet right coming down on Lamanna's shock of curly hair.

    10-9 Davis

    30-27 Davis

    Round 4

Lamanna is leaving his jab out in a breadcrumb trail, finally putting a little space between himself and the short and stocky Davis. Continued aggression from Davis but he isn't able to cut off the ring or smother Lamanna into the ropes and is getting painted with just enough jabs for Lamanna to stake an offensive claim to be due some points. Davis is winging in body shots, all he can really get on the move forward, but few getting in cleanly.

    10-9 Lamanna, very close

    39-37 Davis
