Jones should win this fight, Bailey is pretty old at this point. As long as its not the main support fight to Pac-Bradley than this is a nice undercard match up, but I'm not as crazy about it if its the chief support fight.

I'm not sure when the last time Jones fought but it seems like he's been off for quite a while(come June). He's approaching his prime and shouldn't be taking so long off in between fights.

Welterweight is a deep division and there are a lot of good match ups for Jones, unfortunately some of the biggest are with GBP. I wouldn't be shockd if Jones moves onto the shortlist to face Pac if Pac fights again in November.

He fought on the Cotto-Margarito undercard & stunk the joint out :barf

No way Jones fights Pac, its Kell Brook next if he beats Bailey

Com'on Bailley is going to get his ass kicked by Mike Jones, Jones is going to bust up Bailey.

Jones has a lot of potential, but has underwhelmed as of late. Based on age and speed, it looks like he should be able to take this, but Bailey always has that one punch capability.

This is a decent undercard bout, but not one that really ups my interest in the card.

Its a bit too early for Jones but considering he's a welterweight, has a belt, been on several Pac undercards, and (most importantly) is with Top Rank then he probably is one of the names kicked around after the Bradley fight, unless Bradley wins then its probably straight to a rematch.

I don't remember if the Lujuan fight actually stunk or not because I don't remember much about it but it was clearly a let-down. But, if Clottey could get a shot then that proves Arum isn't overly concerned with Pac's opponents track record of exciting fights or not.

A fight with Kell Brook would actually be a good fight and the right step for Jones if he beats Bailey. They've been rumored to fight before and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see it happen, but if a Pac payday comes calling Jones takes it even if he's still a fight or two frome being ready for it.

The Lujuan fight was awful, Soto-Karass scared the life out of Jones & he's been more cautious since :yep

Kell's ex-promoter reckons the fight was almost made a while ago but Kell turned it down. It will be a better fight these days than a couple of years ago imo

Kell's next fight is for a minor IBF title & his new promoter managed to get Froch a mandatory shot at Bute so I'm hopeful that Jones-Brook happens soon.

If Jones gets offered the Pac fight he would be mad to refuse but I think Pac will be looking elsewhere for his next opponent.

I like the idea of a Jones-Brook fight, two young undefeated top 10 welterweights going at it. I guess one of the two would have to be willing to travel to make it happen but one of them probably would since its an attractive fight for both guys.

I agree that Pac probably lands a fight with someone other than Jones next, perhaps JMM again. But Jones being with Top Rank gives him leg up on most of the other options and I could see him default himself into a fight like Bradley did this go round.

I think the KO King might win here.

This will be the year Philly fighters will be taking belts..

Starts with Danny Garcia, then Jones....

Brook is a good fighter, but Mike is too big for him....

Jones is built like a MW & clearly cuts a lot of weight which affects his stamina, he doesnt have a lot of power & I think Brook will just take him apart with sharp, accurate counters.

This is a fight that Jones should take quite easily but as we all know Bailey has the power to take out anybody with one punch.

I was ringside for the Cotto-Margo fight in the Gardens in December and the WORST fight of the night was the Jones bout.Bloody awful. He has a long way to go.
    List me as a non-fan of Jones.:tired
