He ran for 11 rounds against a 37 year old junior welterweight. Then got KTFO. Draw your own conclusions.
Yep. Jones was hyped because he was from Philadelphia if he was from say Cleveland or somewhere like that we would have never known who he was or seen him on TV. He was exposed as a Glass Jawed hypejob.
When was the last time in a World title fight (apart from Roy Jones Jr) you have seen a guy put on ***** Street from one punch, twice?atsch Mike Jones' Chin is atrocious.
I like all these idiots talking about china chinned. Must have never seen Bailey fight before. Real students of the game.
if you chincheckers are the premier authority on breakable madibles, answer this, what region of the u.s produces the most glass jaws?
MM is indulging in some intelligent boxing debate, and that juvenile reply is all you could muster? :dead:verysad GTFO clown.
Seen him fight several times on ESPN. Glass Jaws exist in Boxing nuthugger and what we know is Mike Jones has one and that punch KOed him and only him. We WILL talk Chins on ESB. Fact. If you don't like it beat it redneck.
I wish the chincheckers would stop avoiding my question and prove that they can do something other than what any other boxing fan can do, which is, label a fighter a glass jawed fraud.
I think Jones wanting to go with the smaller gloves was a good move. He was on the short list for future Pacquaio opponents. Lookig good on the undercard of Pac's fight would have went a long way to landing him a shot, he simply blew it. I don't know if the bigger gloves would have made a difference, Bailey, even an older one fighting above his best weight is a great puncher. Its obvious Jones's chin isn't great but Bailey is still a big puncher and some of the credit obviously goes to him and all can't be blamed on Jones's chin. There's still plenty of time to regroup but Jones has been a let down so far. He's never been too fan-friendly in the ring and has now lost to a vey past his best Bailey and just a few fights ago he struggled with Soto-Karass. Soto-Karass is a tough fighter but Jones had way more trouble than he should have with him as proven by their rematch.
