I dont blame you! :good Yea pac laid a god awful beat down on Margs! I knew it would happen but I had to see it .... It was a sad day for me since Im a margarito fan.. Im also a pac fan so I was happy for him! Jones-karass 1 was a helluva fight.. Jones threw like 100 straight punches in the 2nd round and he never fully recovered after that. I felt karass earned the decision but the judges gave it to jones. Jones clearly showed hes a better athlete and boxer in the re-match.
bballchump....All I have ever ask, is for posters to be "Fair in their Criticism" of ALL FIGHTERS. It's so obvious that "Certain" fighters have to have a PERFECT JAB, UN-HIT-ABLE DEFENSE, DYMANIC MOVEMENT WITH RHYTHM, EXPERT TIMING AND SUPERIOR ACCURACY...AND THEN FIGHT ELITE-LEVEL FIGHTERS WITH 12 FIGHTS. While other fighters are just as flawed in ALL areas, get dropped, wobbled, KTFO against the same soft opposition...(Alvarez being out on his feet against a fighter who started his career at 122lbs - Khan getting KTFO versus a fighter they bought in to loose). Again, All I am saying is "BE FAIR IN YOUR CRITICISM". Example: Everyone by now is well-aware of my now "Infamous" thread Criticizing Sergio Martinez. But there are also at least a combined 24 threads asking David Lemieux to step-up and fight some fighters that will make him "go rounds". Labeling Shane Mosley "NOTHING SPECIAL", Calling Nate Campbell and Zab Judah Skillful fighters from the "NECK DOWN" and that they are the two biggest Brain-dead fighters in recent Boxing History. So I have been very harsh on a fighters from Argentina, Canada and Black fighters from California, Brooklyn and Jacksonville, Florida....Thats called being "FAIR IN MY CRITICISM". But according to these Idiots....I only like BLACK FIGHTERS:-( This is my criticism of David Lemieux...If your resume is full of 1st and 2nd round KO's & TKO's this won't make him a better fighter . As long time trainer Eddie Futch once said: "Continuing to match your fighter against soft-opposition will only improve your fighters record....BUT NOT THE FIGHTER". But real quick...let's say for the record, that I did only like Black Fighters...SO ****ING WHAT!!! When I go inside threads called: Viva Mexico - The Best Fighters Boricua Boxers are better Euro Dominance Pinoy Power And all other threads like this...no-one inside the threads are labeling any of these people/posters as a RACIST. Yet the moment a Black Poster hails, cheers, and/or have an appreciation for a fighter that shares the same race/culture...all of a sudden, this is RACIST. What these people/posters need to understand is that having this standard for only ONE GROUP OF POSTERS....IS THE DEFINITION OF wait for it....wait for it...wait a lil' longer.... RACISM!!!!
lmao shut up darryl, you self-righteous race warrior. anyway i thought jones looked a ton better this time out. he engaged less but he did what he had to to win and fought a much smarter paced bout overall.
Boxing is still a sport where it is openly acceptable/tolerated (to a certain degree) to be adamantly racist, under the guise of "pride" or "cultural celebration." Hell go see a Mexican boxer vs. an African American one and you will know which fan is rooting for which. The only other place where people separate on race other than the seating venue at a boxing match is a prison yard.
says the racist watermelon muncher and you know bballchump is a punk 16 year old, he aint gonna read your mother****in' essay, no one will.
I feel ya man. I've seen plenty of Pinoys brag about Donaire and trash black fighters recently and specifically. Then the expectations that you're talking about is right on. Mike is a good fighter who is being brought along just perfectly. I'm sure Mike gained tons of experience from these past 2 fights, and that's what this part of his career is about. Mike shows good power and speed and can go and KO you or outbox you. We'll see what the critics will say once Jose Benevidez has around 20 fights or Gomez
a biggo, buff, intimidating looking welter who fights with the mentality of a runner....ehhh i'll pass
Was definitely impressed by Jones. Showed some maturity and discipline. I feel like he's on the verge of becoming the total package if he can balance styles, because I felt he was being too cautious and could have afforded to go for the kill. Still a long ways to go from being an elite, but he's close to taking the next step.
And yet he busted up Soto-Karas face and destroyed his body in the process. :dealNot bad for a runner.:hi: He gave your boy the business log off.:-(
Mike Jones looks damn good. Learns from his mistakes throws combos with speed and power good defense goes to the body as well.
Who gives a ****? Just because you lose doesn't mean you can't pose a legit threat. Karass isn't a bum he's tough and comes to fight.
