Promotional troubles apparently. Guys who are linked with J. Russell Peltz tend to run into that for a while. Nothing against Peltz, but the guy doesn't seem to have the juice to deliver a consistent career trajectory for his fighters. That said, a third fight with JSK would be worthwhile for both guys, since JSK is surging, with stock higher than ever, providing an incentive for Jones to push the fight, while JSK no doubt wants revenge.
