How do you see this fight going in 1989 when Nunn was at his peak and McCallum was considered to be slightly past his best.

though that statement can be disputed as mccallum was still producing wonderful performances most noticaebly nearly beating James Toney in 1991 (I felt he should of got the nod)

I see Nunn dominating the early and mid rounds then mccalum grinds him en route to a last round stoppage (could be like taylor v jcc)

If the non-running Nunn took on a well tuned-up Mike, it would be like two rivers diametrically opposed, beautiful stuff.

Boy if Marlon Starling can give Nunn as much trouble as he did then I have to think Mike, a much bigger, much better version of Starling would be just too much for Nunn. I have to think McCallum genius level ring iq and perfect boxing fundamentals would spell disaster for the unconventional but fundamentally flawed Nunn.

Only this Starling comparison prevented me from posting my initial Nunn wins . McCallum might have been bigger but not much better .
Still Nunn could beat McCallum and a stoppage is not out of consideration .
