Does a blown-up old LHW version of Mike McCallum repeat what his countryman Glen Johnson did in defeating Antonio Tarver?

I'm not a fan of him, personally, but McCallum was a GREAT fighter.Even the older lightheavy version was pretty damn good.Tarver,to me,is overrated as he's made his name beating a shot to **** Jones and guys like tough but limited Clinton Woods. At 175,I like McCallum to completely befuddle Tarver with his highly sophisticated inside game as McCallum had the skills to get past Tarver's jab.And how we forget what a hard chin McCallum had.

I don't see anybody knocking anybody out here. Neither man lacks in the ring IQ department but I think an elder McCallum does outwit Tarver in this one, indeed. Good call, Clinton.

Johnson never beat Tarver, it was a robbery. Not sure on this match up, McCallum was blown up and past prime at LHW, but still the great technician. Tarver is pretty underrated, southy with fast hands, top class jab, a big dig when he needed it, strong and rangy at the weight and a bit of stylist

I dont think Tarver could motivate himself to fight anyone but Roy Jones. I would say Mcallum probably has a real good chance.
