Two tough fighters. Who would win at MW?

The one glaring thing that stands out about Bennie is he didnt cut the ring off so all that pressure he put on could be nullified by very good fighters. If he could could cut the ring off I would favor him here but theres no point really in that so I'll take Mike in a UD

Mike on Points for UD. But he would have to earn it all the way.

Not sure about the " never in doubt " part, you might be doing BB a disservice ! any MW that gives Monzon hard fights ( according to Carlos his hardest ) would be even money with MM me thinks, keep well.

I kind of feel the same way. I do feel like I am doing Bennie a disservice recently, I just think this is another fight he would come up just short in. But I may overrate McCallum as I find myself to be a huge appreciator of his work.

Bennie Briscoe had 95 fights and never did anything in any of them that was enough to be favored over an elite fighter. He rocked Monzon in a title fight he lost WIDE on the cards and held a green Monzon to a draw. Those are the high points of his career. Bert Cooper rocked Holyfield multiple times. Even put him down. Are we making him even money against all time great Heavyweights? No. We’re not.

He was a B level fighter. He was really tough and had a big punch. Kinda like Mickey Ward. He was a lot closer to that level than he was a Mike McCallum or a Canelo Alvarez.

Micky Walker a kinda B level fighter ? This Micky Walker passed me by, the MW I have read about was a 2 time champion WW and MW give the Harry Greb the fight of his life, beat a ATG Jack Brittain for the title at WW, gives HW Jack Sharkey a fierce fight earning a draw !!! fought anyone they put in front of him, was one of the toughest boxers of all time, and is worthy of being in the top ten at both weights, so the one your referring to what was his career like.........

McCallum fights cautiously, respecting BB's power, and wins a comfortable UD.

Quite frankly, your post is disrespectful. Benny might have very well beaten Canelo. Mc Callum is a different story .

McCallum so underrated and there is no way he gets KOed. James Toney can tell you truthfully how good he really was.
