After Dawson's last display i'd be more concerned about him then after Pascal fight. Just seems to be a work in progress with Manny and at times he seemed to struggle with fighting taller (new to him). When the boy does let hands go he's talented there ain't no way anyone can deny he's got good speed and punch variation but sadly mentality isn't right and he's going to need a chance of mentality like Ortiz did against Berto to get anywhere near beating B-Hop.
I was being sarcastic, but at-least you answered my question. I wanted a technical break down of how Hopkins will beat him specifically. I always always give technical break downs, i will come with my Chad Dawson break down later.
I actually gave more than that. Give me your Dawson breakdown now, it's not hard is it. You already think Dawson will win, so jot it down :good
He's not mentally weak Dawson though, when you say "Mentality" be more specific in what you mean. The kid can fight, and is not assed when the going gets tough. I have only ever seen him get pissed off, against Pascal against Tarver, when they where opening up on him. He's never weak or scared. "He's got a stubborn, and lazy mentality, where he does not applie all his physical advantages..............he reminds me of a young Lennox Lewis from a mental point of view" At 46/47 years of age, and up against not only Chad Dawson but this fight is a battle of minds. Manny Stewarts mind/Chad Dawson's physicality and skills vs Bernard "The Executon" Hopkins. Just like Adam Booth, Manny Stewart gets inside fighters minds, and implements mind control skills. He installs his beliefs and princples, inside all of his fighters, if he cannot do this the partnership does not work........ Manny Stewart was unable to tap into Jermaine Taylor's head, but Chad Dawson is allot like Anakin Skywalker. He has allot of ability, and appears to be slightly confused inside a boxing ring, and also in life. He is not sure of himself, and these kind of people in life can change and snap at anytime. "He doesn't a ****ing clue whats going on most of the time" These type of people, are easy to manipulate. Anyone can do this, even us......."Where you live, i bet some of us here, could manipulate and mold some people we know, people who are maybe unsure of themselves etc" This is what Manny Stewart is doing right now, day in and day out. re-programming, Chad Dawson's mind.......entering into a sub atomic universe, and implanting principles and agenda's of life inside the boxing ring..........and deep inside Chad Dawson's mind. Thats a mark of a good trainer, technically i think allot of boxing trainers are basically on the same level. Like boxing is not rocket science, at all........but what sets some boxing trainers apart. "Is the mind, the mental connection, the mind control skills, and implementation" If Manny Stewart can implement and install everything he wants by October 15th. "Its over for Bernard Hopkins.............over"
His mentality when fighting is not get hit first and foremost but at times you gotta let your **** go! and let them hands fly and look at Pascal fight when he did. He had Pascal in all kinds of problems. He needs to stop worrying about defence so much. If he balances the attack and defensive mentalities then he can do something in this fight.
He's hardly petrified to let his hands go. He landed masses of punches on Tarver, Johnson, and Pascal at times. He let's his hands go more than Bernard Hopkins, and actually commits to combinations. "Hopkins is a 1-2.........3 if where lucky fighter" Dawson just has lapses and moments of mental laziness. If anybody can extract that **** from Chad Dawson's mind, its Manny Stewart.
Not saying he's petrified but for a lad of his size, speed and skill he should be doing more IMO. He should of stopped Pascal IMO. When he really wanted to go for it Pascal was falling apart. Tarver he just did what he had to do..no outstanding performance just professional.
When you look at Chad Dawson, his like a Formula One car, that can be made even better. There is still room for big improvements weather that be technically and mentally, and this is what should scare allot of Bernard Hopkin's fans. Because Chad Dawson, is slicker than you're average already. "But most are getting carried way, and believe Hopkins is doing something special inside of the ring these days..........when really..? he's not. Teddy Atlas, explained it all.... Hopkins cannot really improve from his last perfomance "He can change"...."Change Game Plans"...."Tactics"....but to make improvements..? Not really. I actually think his last performance against Pascal technically was not as good as the first Pascal fight. I just cannot see how Hopkins beats Dawson. Style's make fights, and he's all wrong for Hopkins....
This would be a very close fight. Mccallum was at his best at LMW and he is the GOAT of that division IMO. I just think up at Middleweight i can't see him beeating Hopkins.
Yeh but the facts are that Chad Dawson, make's his fights. As easy, or as hard as he wants them to be. Against Diaconu, he just did what he had to do and won the fight. Hopkins is all out against Pascal in both fights, and is still technically nothing special........... Thats the big difference at their stages in careers. Chad "Bad Time" Dawson.............. Its gonna be a "Bad Time" for Bernard Hopkins come October 15th. Nobody really has a good time, against "Bad Time"
