If we're talking the McCallum of the Watson fight, I think he takes home a decision. McClellan was just too predictable, but would have his moments. Gerald could win by an early KO, though. Jackson rocked McCallum badly in the first and McClellan was just as fast a starter. It's absolutely not inconceivable that he could succeed where Jackson didn't. If Mike gets into his rhytm it would get very hard for G-Man, though.

McClellan was so much bigger. A chiseled 185 in the ring as an MW, when McCallum got as high as 175 in his 40s he was carrying 15lbs of fat on his stomach.

McClellan is too big for Mike and blows him out of the water in two rounds.

McCallum would have easily outsmarted and outhustled GMAN. I could see him stopping him late, if not a wide decision

A Prime RJJ couldn't stop an old McCallum, McCallum beat a prime Jackson easier than McClellan beat an old version. McCallum is a little smaller, but after the first 2 round when McClellan has shot his load McCallum treats him like a ginger step child

A Prime RJJ is no Gerald McClellan. He wasn't near as naturally large or near as heavy-handed. Look at Roy's wrists, you could fit your hands around them.

McCallum beat a green Jackson easily?? He was holding on for dear life and Julian was stopped prematurely on his feet. McClellan nearly punched him into the crowd, and blew him out in about 90 seconds. (Jackson was in the lb4lb top-10 list at the time of the first Gerald fight.)

Jones has more and better brutal KOs than McClellan does

GMAN went life and death in the first Jackson fight and many blame it for his brain injuries. McCallum put in a much more controlled performance

And did Jones land those same shots at the same velocity on McCallum? No.

Gerald only needs to land, because he had naturally heavy hands.

(The only brutal KO of Jones I can think of was the overhand-right one in about '92 where the guys eyes are rolling to the back of his head and he's kind of ******ed on the canvas. Almost every McClellan win featured a heavy, brutal KD in next to no time.)

I don't think McClellan would be able to hit McCallum often enough and cleanly enough to hurt him much. There's a good enough difference in skill between the two and McCallum had an iron chin. I'd pick Mike.

If he can hit (and brutally KD early) Sanderline Williams, he can hit anyone! That guy was so slippery. He only has to hit Mike once, and maybe follow it up.

I do not think that McClellan would only have to hit McCallum once to put him down. If the two of them would brawl it out, I'd pick McCallum 9/10.

Don't start comparing a bum like Sanderline Williams to an ATG like Mike McCallum.

    On topic McCallum wide UD

Sanderline Williams was no bum, he went the distance with the likes of James Toney, Reggie Johnson, Herol Graham, Frank Tate, Nigel Benn and Iran Barkley and i thought he beat Barkley, and drew with James Toney the first fight

Ok so he went the distance with some good fighters, so what? So did Everett Martin and Peter Buckley, means nothing, he was a bum that just happend to tough and had a good chin. And for the record Toney was robbed, he beat Sanderline easily both fights.
