Norris would have his moments early on due to his speed and talent but at the end of the day think of Donald Curry, because that's how Terry will finish the bout. Norris is very chinny and over the long haul McCallum will catch him.
Despite Norris's flashiness and early rounds speed and all that spectacular crap, the Class A McCallum would deal with it all and after his trademark body-snatching body attack, would dispatch his man in the 6th. McCallum was, in my opinion, one of the few modern day Old Masters of boxing. He would have been a nightmare even for Sugar Ray Leonard. I think the "Body Snatcher" would have beaten Duran and Hearns. Hagler may or may have not won a 15 round decision, but either way, it would have been razor close.
McCallum by late stoppage or wide points win. Shame he never got any of the marquee names in the ring with him. McCallum - Hearns would have been a fight for the ages, maybe they had the fight at the Kronk one time.
Mccullum would win by late stoppage. terrys superior speed would get him the early lead.........then the bodypunches of the bodysnatcher would slow him down. then, mccullum connects with a hook and norris is gone. ko in 10.
Hey, a thread not about Tony Ayala Anyway, McCallum by mid-rounds knockout. Norris might outbox him early ala Donald Curry, but then he'll slow down and that's when Mike will catch him.
Mccallum wouldn't have beaten Thomas Hearns,Marvin Hagler or Ray Leonard. He struggled with a shot Donald Curry and got his ass handed to him by Kalambay.
McCallum stops Norris in the ninth round.Like said before, he may lead early, but Mike catches up for that stoppage.Only Tommy Hearns arguably beats Mike at 154, and that's very debatable.
