I don't think it would've been that easy. McCallum was not Hagler, and Sibson is probably more underrated these days than McCallum.

McCallum by late stoppage. It would not be the walkover some are suggesting though. Sibson was busy, tough, and had some serious power when he wound them up. I think he could give Mike some uncomfortable moments in a spirited encounter, but ultimately the superior fighter would break Sibbo down. Ref stoppage in round 11.

McCallum all day long! Sibbo would give his all but it would not be good enough.

Body Snatcher would certainly Snatch that body!

McCallum would win, but I think Sibbo would have his moments early, with McCallum eventually coming on strong for the late (possible damage) stoppage or fairly comfortable decision.

Sibbo was a very dangerous Puncher if he found your chin and cut loose, undefeated John Collins could attest to that, the prospect was looking for a name a bit better than Mark Holmes, And Sibbo was looking for redmeption after feeling like an unexploded bomb against Hagler, It was noticeable that Mike didnt Loiter in Trading with James Toney, and Herol Graham had him pulling his hair out with his movement and slipperyness, Tony, for a short Subby Fighter did have got movement, a good Jab, And fast Combo's topped off with that Big left hook, Sibbo is nobody's easy night unless your bald and come from Brockton So the "Rolling Thunder" attack of Sibbo will i think Cause Mike some periods of concern, Particularly if Mike triues to Bodysnatch the Chunky Sibbo, he might get caught by Sibbo's Left Hook, But Mike is so experienced and unlike Tony, he doesnt have to make an early impact, he can take the long scenic route to victory with his boxing ability.

Even at his best Tony, if the opporsition did not leave their chin out, and boxed well could cause him long distence trouble, Bullying Dwight Davidson or Mark Kaylor might be one thing But the poised versatile Mike will be quite another, lets just say anything the excellant (when on form) Kevin Finnegan can do i can see Mike doing too. Mike on points but he might have a few shakey moments along the way.
