Mike "Mile High" Alvarado Possibly the G'est boxer in BOXING?

    Get's slashed up in his face and neck for being at the wrong place at the wrong time in early February, requires stitches and doesn't pull out or postpone fight.

    What a G, those slashes looked sick in Road to Rios Alvarado and it had to be because of the thug life, what I trip on is how can he be at the wrong place, we know a few years back he was in jail for gun possession, but still living in it after having a lot of high profile fights, damn!

    I remember seeing those during the HBO preview, pretty crazy. Guy's coming for blood with Rios. He must know he can't win a shoot out. Hope people won't be disappointed if we don't get the same war and instead Mike goes for the win by trying to box more.

    He wrestled for 13 years before he got into boxing, and has 23 K.O's in pro boxing. Dude would be a handful in a street fight....

    Well if you heard the scorecards after the bogus stoppage, you know Rios was getting setup to be robbed.

    He now knows he can't outbox and get a point win on Rios, Bob won't allow it. He has to go for the KO.

    I'd have to know the extent of his injuries to determine the level of gangsta. Continuation of training camp despite a few mild lacerations doesn't make you a G. Next thing you know obnoxious geeks will start handing out street cred for surviving a mosquito bite.
